	Nava Handelsman is an internationally acclaimed Artist whose work has been shown at important galleries in Israel, New York, Beverly Hills, Malibu and Palm Springs. Israeli born Nava studied at the "Avni Institute of Fine Art" in Tel Aviv, at the renowned "Art Student League" in New York, in Los Angeles and in the studios of artists in Israel and New York. She has received numerous awards, honors and prizes for her works, including first place recognitions by her peers. Of particular importance is her masterful painting that celebrates Israel: "If You Will - It Is Not A Dream." The 'fit to be a stamp' painting is the product of her deep relationship with Israel and her Jewish roots which are vividly expressed in this masterpiece painting. Equally accomplished in oils, water colors, and acrylic; she has painted Realism, Abstract, and the classics using dramatic and warm tones as well as black and white, meanwhile developing her distinct, award winning style. Nava's work is in the homes of collectors in Palm Springs, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Miami and Israel. She has been a Curator, Art Director and Juror of many shows and exhibitions. The painting was chosen by the "Sponsor a Child Program" charity, to which Nava created and a donated a 'special edition' titled "Women Who Care." Some of her latest oil on canvas creations, "The Spring Girl" and "The Lady in the Garden", triumph again. Multi-talented, she designs landscape, hardscape, curtains, home interiors, theater set, brochures, and exhibit space for large conventions- all this with the same originality, talent, and uniqueness that her paintings display. She also introduced a special line of Artistic greeting cards. Nava lives in the hills of Tarzana, California, with her husband, a physician. They have two sons, both student.
